The GFF and Enter the System series are fantastic -- great details and an important focus on the underlying concepts/mechanics (the "why").
Professor Danaher is really a pioneer in revolutionizing the modern day jiu jitsu game. In this instructional he shows the concepts and theory on how to pass any guard. By knowing the concepts on how things work, you can develop your system on how you will pass the opponent's guard. This is a great investment along with all the Go Further Faster Series.
great video!
John Danaher's teaching of the Fundamentals of Gi Jiu Jitsu has been an invaluable resource for my development, i'll often find that I will re-watch chapters many months later when i revisit a technique.
Fully knowledge on what to do, when and WHY! OSS BJJ FANATICS :call_me_hand:
I finally understood how to do a proper guard pass! From white to blue I struggled passing the guard with very skilled (or more athletic) players. John Danaher does an amazing job breaking down the details on each guard pass. Although my techniques are still not perfect, I can easily pass almost everyone's guard with ease. John Danaher not just teaches you the "how" of the techniques, but also the "why". He does a great job of making sure you have a deep understanding and knowledge of any topics.
He never fails.
This product, specifically John's concept of staging positions and using them to keep your opponent in mechanically weak positions has been critical to my game. I needed this and I found it here on BJJ Fanatics.
As always John Danaher dropping great knowledge everyone can learn from.
I know it’s been out for a while but this course is still very relevant and there is a lot of great details. Some people say danaher repeats himself too much but this actually helps me remember his lesson. Highly recommended for all levels
This video is extremely helpful! Again, Danaher does not disappoint and it is the small details he covers the bring tremendous insight! Get this!
Fantastic instructional! Giving me a much deeper understanding of BJJ
Must have vídeo! This is something that all bjj students should learn!
I've learned so much from this DVD. I highly recommend to anyone that is facing problems to pass guards.
As always, the master delivers and articulates movements like no other. John Danaher's real gift is his eye for detail and his ability to make the complex relatable. Above all, you learn the "why" to a technique, allowing you to defend it or transfer it to another situation. Excellent!
I have most of Danaher’s Go Further series, this is the one I keep coming back to. Honestly I’m going down a knee slice rabbit hole that doesn’t seem to end. Super fun!
John Danaher is a genius, he breaks things down so well. Jiu jitsu techniques explained in a philosophical way. Whenever these are on deal make sure you snap them up. Audio quality is perfect. So much attention to producing a top quality product. I would say there is a huge gulf between his videos and everyone else's.
This video is a must have in your collection. Danaher breaks every little detail in guard passing like you have never seen before.
This video helps me tremendously since I've purchased it. I review the material all the time to try and get the details down for passing the guard. Love it.
Amazing how much I realize I don't know when hearing Danahers teachings! Very good guard passing tutorial!
This was my first Danaher instructional. I bought it as a white belt, 2 months after starting. Within weeks of watching this, I was passing guard pretty effectively, even against significantly more experienced opponents.
I have been using this material for two years now, and my ability and confidence have gone further, faster. Danaher summarizes and strategizes better than most others.
I’ve been training for 8 months now and I have been focusing on the glamours submissions, but at the end of the day if can’t get passed someone’s guard you don’t get the chance to execute the subs. This has really helped get into the right position.
I own all of the Go-Further Faster series and this is, by far, the one video that has improved my game the most. From the very first video I was able to effectively open my opponents’ closed guards and go on the offensive. The system has saved me a huge amount of time and energy and boosted my offensive confidence.
In the first 2 volumes (I dont know about the rest yet) there is ALOT of repetition that I was first a bit annoyed with. But that way its also almost like "learning by seeing".. Repetition is the mother of knowledge. Im looking forward to hear him talk about the knee-cut pass.. I have a feeling I'll get more details and variations.
