A great instructional with a ton of information in it.
I really like this instructional it really fits into my style and and helped me win couple of major competitions 😊
Been studying this for 8 months (and will be refining for years) and, although it’s light on strategy, the pieces fit beautifully into a single cohesive system once you’ve been through most of the instructional! Very oriented towards the gi, as the grips (not necessarily available in no gi) give very strong controls. Comprehensive, very clearly explained, resource exploring in particular “classic” butterfly (underhook and overhook controls), “lazy” butterfly (lying down), and half guard (with knee shield foot on partner’s thigh) positions, including: how to flow in and out of them, how to defend / retain position / upgrade controls, and how to attack from there, with plenty of details that allow you to self-coach and troubleshoot any problems that arise during practice/sparring. There is enough coverage of sub-systems he explores more deeply in other instructionals (seated vs standing, knee lever, pinning) to allow you to be effective.
my favorite instructional. Has really helped me with my butterfly guard
Master of Butterfly guard explained it perfectly.
Great course and well explained but the audio and echo in the room was pretty bad. Hard to hear and then too loud when trying to hear the details. Other than that good course.
you will improve your butterfly guard game ore developing a good base...this is the perfect instructional!!!
