The strength of this instructional is the focus on systems. More than a collection of isolated techniques, Kressin shows how techniques flow into (an out of) one another. Also, there is some funky stuff in here, which I like.

Sam Kressin does an excellent job applying Catch Wresting Submission to BJJ! Enough practical concepts to make sense, detailed enough to apply, and demonstration angles to see how it works! This guy is a diamond in the rough. Standing on the shoulders of giants with Robinson and Hauter gives him deep insight and perspective!

If you love catch wrestling or were just curious about how to apply catch against BJJ this video is one of the best. Instead of just giving a bunch of random submissions from different positions, Sam goes into practical applications of catch wrestling concepts against common BJJ scenarios. Everything in this instructional is practical and effective. You can tell that Sam has spent the time on the mat learning how to apply everything he teaches.
Kressin Masterfully Pieces Together Training He’s Received From Legends
As with many here, I became familiar with Sam Kressin via his contributions to Coach Chris Haueter’s awesome instructionals. Sam’s application of catch wrestling techniques to BJJ are second-to-none! I love his unique perspectives and insights on the grappling game!
