  Another very good video by Tom Deblass. Simple and very effective techniques. It turned my closed guard from defensive and stuck position to an aggressive and dynamic position. I feel much more confident now in closed guard. Definitely reccomended!

• Descent for a start

  This is not a bad instructional, but I wish It mentioned how it is pretty basic. There aren't really any techniques I don't feel like I haven't seen on youtube or could have picked up in the gym. If you want to learn closed guard I guess this is as good a spot as any, but if it was going to be this kind of more common stuff I wish he at least made it an organized step by step system like some other instructors do.

  Picked up a lot of great details. I have alot greater percentages finishing triangles and omaplatas, keeping my opponent at a distance or on the run. I would recommend this video to everyone. Tom Deblass is great teacher. No wonder he has had the greatest coming out of his school.
