  Ive only sat through the first part of this instructional. Otavio does a great job teaching and explaining the Dela Riva guard. I was easily able to enter the position and sweep my opponent the first time I tried the first basic sweep. Im definitely going to like this guard and im sure the instructional will only get better! Great job Otavio and thanks BJJ fanatics for providing such great content!

  Ofcourse, Otavio is known as a great competeter though, probably many BJJ lover never heard his instructions. de la hiva has became the most popular and basic guard in this 10 years. but ofcourse, belimbolo is lot always the first option for many people(especially for the bigger). this instruction is more focusing on basic but super important dela viva techniques. worth to check it.

  I've never really attempted to use de la riva extensively and this instructional has shown me that I've been missing out. The attention to detail is excellent and for the first time I feel organized and often in control using de la riva.
