  Great way to start once your ready to start polishing your offense. I recommend pin escapes first, then posiitonal control, then go into the submission systems. Nothing worse than going all in for subs with 0 posiitonal game,

• Great Leg Lock Method

  I have always respected the modern leg lock game. This is a great introduction with detailed instruction of the modern game. I highly recommend it.

  So far I'm working my way through the leg lock series. Danaher provides the major conceptual overview of the modern leg lock game. This video alongside Gordon's provide a good overview. Right now I'm trying to work all of the entries.

• The new standard for Bjj

  ETS should be the starting point for every Bjj practitioner. It lays the foundation for a very strong submission based game. Each system covers sets ups, finishing mechanics, and counter measures for the problems you’ll commonly face. By virtue of learning the counter measures, you’ll also learn the basic escapes as well. Most instructionals don’t give you the wide variety of content and multiple subject matters, making it the best value for your money. For me it is the most watched instructional I have. Downsides? It can be dry, or slow. Easy to zone out if you don’t like his voice. Overcome this by watching on 2x speed and in short bursts.

• The new standard for BJJ

  This should be required viewing for everyone, white belt to black belt. So much is packed into these sets. In general, The sub systems include finishing mechanics, set ups, and counter measures for the common problems you’ll run into (that is, he also shows you the common escapes as well). Other guys would divide these into 3 different instructionals, but you get all 3, giving you more content per dollar spent than on other instructionals. I’m always going back to this series to fine tune things.

• Highly in depth content

  If you're looking for a systematic, even scientific, breakdown of some of the most important submission systems in the sport, this is for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the depth to which he explained especially leg locks, kimuras and triangles. There was so so much more to it than I could have ever imagined. Fascinating. I'm excited to spend probably years mastering this content.
