  I have always appreciated seeing what Professor Gurgel has to share. His devotion to BJJ and seeing others improve their performance and understanding of BJJ is only matched by a handful of other instructors out there. Even after 25 years of training and teaching, I still find Professor Gurgel to be a positive example and someone I continue to learn great information from.

  Master Gurgel teaches strategies to get out from under dangerous holds. His decades of experience running one of the most successful jiu-jitsu schools and competition teams in the world is apparent here. He isn't as well known among many Americans but don't let that dissuade you, this is excellent technique for your gi game.

• a must-view for white belts!

  Very very very useful instructional especially for white belts! where else can you learn from one of the legends of BJJ for under a hundred dollars?! your fundamental defense, posture under pressure, and survival will improve with this instructional (with lots of practice of course). Fabio Gurgel is a very excellent instructor!
