Good
Watching this instructional is like having my make believe Armenian uncle patiently explaining the intricacies of leg locking, but with zero fluff. I've tried watching instructionals from the danaher camp on leg locks but I can't deal with the Japanese vocab and pseudo intellectual fluff that comes with it. There is an art to teaching, and Gokor explains concepts and techniques with a very straightforward and simple style. Phenomenal stuff, highly recommend
Excellent source of knowledge, the instructor is highly recommended for a reason.
Gokor has been doing leglocks longer then most. This video shows very effective leglocks with easy entries! This is a must have!
I love leg locks. Gokor's techniques are a nice addition to even an experienced leg breaker's arsenal.
Awesome content
Good video lots of stuff
Gokor is always an excellent instructor and this series is no exception!
Gokor was the original king of the leg locks. Check out his details here!
Gokar an old master shares his knowledge. I am a fanboy of the Hayastan grappling system and find that it flies under the radar like so much else. Subtlety, good ideas and inspiration. I think it's good. Technically well explained and even with a lot of experience you learn a lot. Old school, new school...doesn't matter...timeless is right
Great old school details that are still effective in today's game.
Gokor was leg locking people back before most of us had heard of submission grappling. Some of the techniques are hard to see and the flow of inspiration is hard to follow at times but what is shown you are not likely to see from anyone else. Gokor is an old school master who shares tips and tricks that will be lost to time if he hasn’t documented them here. Thank you sir.
Gokor Chivitchyan is an innovative coach whose unique style combines sambo, judo, and a slew of other grappling arts. His techniques are second-to-none, and Chivitchyan was revolutionizing leg locks when they were still shunned by the mainstream grappling community. Do yourself a favor and study this true master.
These old guys with experience, priceless. Everyone is talking about new stuff, I betting on this Grand Master.
If you want a more oldschool but still highly effective approach to leg locks this is for you
Gokor does a great job of keeping it simple and allowing you to see the moved from more than one point of view.
Great leg lock instructional for people with short legs some interesting new submissions and entries Neil Melanson was coached by this guy
leg locle
Decades of knowledge in these videos
This instructional gave me a great entry into leglocks. It delivers particularly detailed insights into setting up and finishing knee bars.
Unbelievably good
Like his teaching style. Easy to follow. He speaks "my language "
Nice instructionals.
Instructional is good in that it shows different setups that I have not seen elsewhere. Each segment was concise and to the point. Unlike Gotdon Ryan’s leg lock instructional it is not defining a system for you. It shows disparate leg locks from different positions including stand up. If you are looking for strategy, transitions, etc look at GR’s instructional which is more comprehensive but also much pricier. Grekor’s is a good follow-up to further explore other setups as well as his style of leg locks.
right to the point, very useful for all levels
