Awesome. I have Danaher's half guard series and love it, but it's nice to get different explanations from other reputable instructors. Also like supporting Tom because of all the anti-bullying stuff he does on social media.

Just because Professor Tom DB is well known for his no gi game you should not skip this series. He is explaining very simplified how to set up proper grips and hooks utilizing the collar and pants of your opponent so that your game works way more efficient!

Another excellent instructional from Tom DeBlass
I really like Tom DeBlass as a BJJ teacher. He goes stright to the point, showing high percentage moves and also teaching BJJ theory. I play a lot of half guard and this instructional has helped me immensely.
Tom is a wonderful instructor
I own many of Toms instructionals and have had the privilege of attending Ocean County BJJ. His stuff works, pure and simple, to me its very fundamentally based, no flash, no sparkle, just real applicable jiu-jitsu. Works great for all ranges of players

Tom knows his half guard.
This is a must buy for a little older and not so explosive guy like me! By learning these techniques i've been able to give some head ache to my training partners. Tom does a great job teaching here!

My second Tom DeBlass instructional (also have his excellent Framing instructional). It's a great half guard system. This and Laclean Giles Half Guard Anthology (IMO a must for half guard as well) has really boasted my half guard. Great tips, techniques and thought process.

Bloody Tremendous Instructional
Tom is a fantastic instructor and does a really awesome job explaining the thought processes and concepts behind his moves, h's explains their mechanics incredibly well whilst simulatinously considering his partners reactions. Can't recommend it enough!

Excellent technique explanations by Tom - this tape teaches a depth to the positions and moves that will be helpful to apply if one finds themselves in half guard. By using these positions and setups, a better ground game can be developed.

I've seen a lot of half guard explanations, but I've never seen such a simple and effective video! I want to do more drills and understand the concept! Personally, I learned a lot from Reverse Lockdown.
