I revisit this instructional a lot, because it does help me with my guard. AND, it does work against bigger training partners!!! Bruno is literally the Pound for Pound best!!!
This is the 1st instructional that I bought from BJJFanatics, and it was so worth it!!!! I have become more confident with my butterfly guard and I've been making it work with Bigger Guys!!! Literally!!!
Lots of great and modified moves and techniques to help against larger opponents. I feel like this instructional shows a lot of stuff worth mastering as one of the smaller guys in my gym. It's fairly advanced which is to be expected when you are learning how to work against people with physical advantages.
Technique and skill can help overcome size differences.
Good techniques for someone new to BJJ

Clear instructions. Haven't been able to try out most of these techniques yet but seeing as most of the people I roll with are bigger than me, I'm looking forward to trying them out.
If you want to sweep everyone buy this!
It's amazing the game Bruno Malfacine has developped. Wise moves. Thanks
I tried to edge to this but I immediately exploded! Couldn't even hold it back! Clean up aisle, my pants!!
I love how each technique progresses though a system. It's so easy to see the chains he is teaching and add them to your game immediately!
as a smaller grappler these are guards I have been working on improving at, this is a great resource to come back to time and again to find new details.
Very good open guard.
B. M. provides his butterfly/open guard. He teaches sweeps and back takes as well as straight forward submussions. He combines it with his x-guard game out of butterfly and shin to shin in the same manner. He demonstrates each entry and the key points of each technique several times with clear instructions concluded by the whole sequence out of different angles and with intermediate to full pace at the end of each section. Highly recommend!
Good video. Covers many sweeps from Butterfly and X-guard. Very useful tips to prevent getting smashed.
I already incorporated a few of the moves and tecniques from this turorial and it helps a lot.
Well organized instructional Clear Concise Straight forward
GREAT INSTRUCTIONAL, THE TECHNIQUES ALL FLOW TOGETHER AND WORK WELL WITH MY CURRENT GAME. THIS INSTRUCTIONAL SEEMS SIMPLE AT FIRST, BUT IS HIGH LEVEL!!!
Great stuff from butterfly
As an older and smaller grappler, this instructional has saved my life against the young and ginormous

Tired of getting smashed by big guys. I'm 155 and usually one of the smaller guys on the mats. This helped me
Bruno's instructional helped me a lot with my guard game. It is well organized and easy to follow. The techniques are very effective. The first part covers butterfly guard, Second part collar drags, 3th. x guard, 4th single leg X guard. One of the instructionals I am re-watching many times. Highly recommend.
Good open guard techniques, but on a higher level than I was looking for.
I have been beating bigger guys with techniques shown in this video
