Own the physical copy, bought ages ago. Always enjoyed it.
Simple and Effective!
JT shows a simple passing system that leads to many back take opportunities. My favorite part is the X-pass and the variations he shows. This instructional would be great for a beginner but an experienced practitioner would still gain a lot too.

JT sticks to the basics in this passing video and doesn't overcomplicate things. He keeps things simple but also gives you the needed details and reasons behind each technique. I first viewed this video when I was a purple belt and it helped my passing game tremendously. I already liked the X-pass, but this video gave me more variations and reactions from there.

Torres' guard passing is very good! Torres has a great technique, and he teaches well in detail.To be honest, it's a little difficult. Compared to other videos, it's not easy to follow. But it will definitely be useful to watch and train repeatedly. I personally recommend it to blue belt or higher.

This is an instrucitonal go back to several times to review details on passing different guards. JT's teaching is very clear and methodical. I also really like his pace. He doesn't take too long to go over positions, but doesn't move too fast either. Highly recommend.

I did a seminar focused on passing with JT a few years ago. It's probably one of the best seminars I've ever attended. He's one of the friendliest guys I've met in Jiu-jitsu and his willingness to share techniques outside of the seminar's focus was awesome. The bjjfanatics website has plenty of JT's material and I highly recommend checking all of it out.

Excellent instructional, covers a lot of headquarters passing which has been very valuable to me. Content is taught well and in good order from opening the guard to passing from different situations and the techniques work well. Highly recommend for anyone looking to advance their passing game.

I had been getting absolutely highlight reeled by higher level guys who liked to play open guard from a seated position. I picked up this series specifically for my lamentable guard passing skills and it was literally a game-changer. After a few weeks of practicing some of JT's passes, those guys weren't so eager to sit down anymore. The fun didn't stop there, though. This is one of the series in my library that I frequently refer back to and find new techniques to integrate to my game. Thanks!

JT's teaching is tied together very well....excellent instruction and details. This instructional works very well with a grappling ***** if practice solo, which gives you a chance at a ton of useful reps. My only issue is the filming. Often the filming cuts off JT's head; however, this does not take away for the incredible content and high level instruction. This instructional provide a complete game for the top position to the back, and ultimately the finish.
