• Great tips and style of teaching

  Really enjoying this tutorial. I have bought other tutorials for closed guard before and found them to sometimes be too long/detailed. Ffion gives really good techniques and strategies while keeping the whole thing digestible. It’s not short, but it also won’t take you your whole life to get through this tutorial. A nice middle ground. It’s my first time seeing anything from Ffion but I really like her cheerful style of talking and she explains the details of techniques really well. I also have closed guard tutorials from John Danaher and Henry Akins but I’m finding this one is helping me improve far more.

  I'm a bigger jiu jitsu player, so I love looking at instructionals that are from the perspective of a smaller player. Ffion does this so well without highlighting that she's working from a smaller frame, making it accessible to all. Very good instructional from a top mind in the sport
