When i first got my DVD from professor Heredia, it was a mind-blowing and it's amazing and phenomenal, he's a 2nd person to receive his black belt from Rickson Gracie and been with him, since day 1and get it directly from him :-)

It's probably one of the better beginner instructional. Professor Heredia gave great details on a wide range of techniques. It's a good starting place for anyone new to the gi.

Heredia is great. He excels at showing the old school details - many small mechanical tweaks that make a difference and how to distribute your weight for each technique. If you want to learn to do more with less this is a great place to start. Excellent for the older grappler.

Great demonstration of principles with practical techniques you can use. The volumes span top game (lots of knee on belly) and submissions, closed guard (can opener defence) and weight distribution/pressure passing. It's not a comprehensive list of techniques, but rather a conceptional and philosophical approach; old school and self defence focused. Minor negatives are that his demo partner chats too much (very distracting) and the chapter markers are missing on volume three for some reason. Great buy if you want some no-nonsense old school BJJ demos and advice.

excellent seminar. he goes over the invisble jiu-jitsu in detail. on what can make your jiu-jitsu more efficient. remember, old school jiu-jitsu does not mean outdated jiu-jitsu. it's actually timeless jiu-jitsu. you don't need 20 techniques to shut down any open guard, you need only one. and he explains the principle behind it. i could not believe my eyes

Master Luis Heredia is the real deal. When I say his dvd I purchased it, No brainer but i have a suggestion to Master Heredia if he is going to keep using his instructor as a video partner, PLEASE, tell him to shut up during the instruction.

What this instructional thought me is that the fundamentals are very important. I will keep working on them before moving on to all the ninja stuff :-)

Professor Heredia is a legend. Rickson;s right hand man. These are great fundamentals with some added twists, especially the wristlocks. i'm a big believer in the invisible jiu-jitsu concepts from Rickson Gracie. Thank you!

Master Heredia goes in depth through demonstration on the theory of using weight for pressure and passing. Im not small or as flexible and agile as others. This dvd explains how to use your weight to really make things happen and defeat all the fancy new guards.
