Great techniques, shown by one of the best instructors. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to improve standup game.
Another masterclass from John Danaher. This is a comprehensive review of the no-gi standing position. This instructional can take you to a next level standing grappler no matter your starting skill level.
Great product by one of the best instructors, techniques shown in the instructional has improved my standing grip and possitional game dramatically.
Safe take downs
One of the longest series I’ve watched, but it only reflects the immense amount of knowledge here. With tips on technique, concepts, and reactions, this video really has it all. Loved the section on the 2 on 1 grips the most.
This instructional is a complete guide to no gi jiu-jitsu standing scrambles, suits well for those who have no wrestling or any other standing grappling background.
Amazing detail
Two on one with hand down
Great details
Very intuitive
An indepth system of winning exchanges during the scrimmage
For the technically minded, no one's better than John. Thank you Professor
I really like JD's stuff because it ties everything together. Really solid system.

Excellent material on the stand up game. You can’t go wrong with this one.
Amazing detail that will immediately improve your stand up game.
It’s going well so far
If you want to have a complete guide on such standing grappling aspects as hand fighting, positional dominance, this instructional is a must have. Great, well explained techniques by one of the world's best no-gi instructors.
This series is without a doubt the best I have seen for the standing position. Any one of the videos in this series would be enough for you to have a very good takedown game. Any two is even better. And if you have all three it is all I think you will ever need for a very long time.
Must know
Excellent content
Danaher is so generous in what he gives you, and is such an excellent teacher, that you can't go wrong if you get this. There's a lot of gold here. However, I'd recommend checking out some of the discussion of Joe Breza on YouTube. Danaher gets some techniques a bit off. I can tell with these wrestling skills it's not the same level of depth with his Jiu-Jitsu knowledge. But, that being said, what Danaher knows about wrestling is still miles ahead of what most people know. Definitely recommend, but if you want to get some refinement of some standing game techniques, check out what some elite wrestlers are doing.
