  A lot of a instructional are useful but Gordon's instructional actually work the way he says. He gives you the scenarios that are most likely to happen but also explains why it cannot happen. He does go over all the little details and you can take this information and immediately apply it

  Gordan Ryans opponents talk about it feeling like Gordan has a strategy for every possible escape/attack they have. This instructional is that, the guy literally covers everything within half and responses you can give. He also gives a little wiggle room, offering a few different responses allowing you to pick your favorite. I'm not a Gordan Ryan fanboy, but this is pretty much the best Half Guard instructional I've seen. I've bought Danahers, Giles, Craig Jones (he had a section in Just Stand Up), etc..... Gordans is the best. It covers lots of small details that I felt like I was missing. Because he covers so much it can be a pretty long instructional, but the first section covers a general overview of the strategies he uses so you get a foundational understanding of Half Guard passing and then you can pick through sections based on your needs (problems you encounter in the Gym).
