I've had this video for years, and I keep coming back to it. It's great how it taught me things that helped me get started, but yet it has fine details that can keep helping you as you advance in your career. The high wrist and centerline shift concepts are ones that I consider foundational.
always great stuff from Danaher
usefull
Amazing as always
Highly recommend this instructional for anyone struggling with guillotines. I've never felt fully confident commiting to them in the past. However, the high wrist position shown by Danaher has helped change that. I feel much more confident in committing to guillotines now when the time is right. Also, several other head lock submissions are broken down thoroughly along with the position itself (i,e, back takes, go behinds, etc).
the new approch to the font head lock has made my hacksaw gulloitine leathel
I was able to catch guillotines, but after a while, they stopped working. This course gave me the framework I needed to get back into making it a core part of my game.
solid details for front head control and submission
good
coach ever
helping me prep for a comp
As a wrestler, already used to using the front headlock, this instructional opened my eyes with every section. Danaher isn't lying when he says that his students can use any type of guillotine as equally as effectively as another. Worth the money
WWJD!! I always respect an opponent who doesn't try to pull something sneaky off behind your back when your not looking! Very respectful approach of choking you right in front of your face! If its not for you, well you can always pass... but that' getting into the back story.
;)
Requisite material for the front headlock.
love this site
great
i was constantly struggling to finish an Anacoda strangle but Danaher's critical details were the fix and now I'm anacoda strangling son of a gun.
Top Series. Must have instructions.
Great instructional by a professor at the top of the game. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for more options from the front headlock position!
I love front headlock stuff and this is the perfect guide
Danaher is as thorough as always. I've taken my favourite submission to whole different level thanks to this instructional.
Danaher is a master at delivering exceptional quality, world-class instruction in a very coherent manner. This instructional will clean up your chokes from the front head locks for sure! Thank you for making all of this information so easily accessable Danaher and those on the BJJFanatics teams!
Pure gold! John will level up your game.
Danaher does it again, with easy-to-follow detailed steps to achieve the most shockingly tight darces, anacondas and guillotines. When I hit a darce or anaconda my opponents just die. I have a lot more difficulty following his steps to get guillotines from Kneeling Front Headlock - he doesn't give enough detail on how to hand fight against resistance. I've found it almost impossible to get to the high hand position he favors as a starting point, and so I often employ his go-behinds instead, which work perfectly. Even knowing that I'd absolutely buy it again,
