Learned new ways of using lapels to sweep and attack. Very well explained without being long winded.
Good stuff
Alex Huddleston’s instructional is very good and easy to understand. He shows the Squid Guard in a simple, clear, and practical way. The techniques are explained step by step, so it is easy to follow and start using them in training. I really liked how direct and specific his teaching style is. There is no wasted time, and the details are shown quickly and clearly. I learned some new ideas about control, timing, and transitions from the Squid guard that I can use right away. Overall, this is a very solid instructional for anyone who wants to improve their Squid Guard and add something new to their game.

Great system to start with to add to fundamentals
Instructional was detailed and gave me a good set of sequences to branch out from fundamentals. Watched several times over to make sure I understood some of the more detailed movements positioning and was able to implement the entry’s and following attacks in live sparring fairly quickly. Overall great and helped me improve

Alex is great teacher and explains things well. Camera angles are good as well. The course goes over specifically Squid Guard as well as a lapel attack sequence from the Closed Guard. Great series focusing on the Squid Guard

This lapel lockdown system was something I've explored in the past, but didn't get too deep into it. I saw this instructional on a discount so I decided to pick it up. I got this for $40. I can tell you that this instructional is not $40. It's worth atleast $150. The system of the lapel shoulder lockdown and the strategies that he describes in this guard is incredibly detailed, with many options, counters, submissions, sweeps, and transitions to improved position, you will certainly see me playing with this guard system going forward in the future.
