Awesome concepts with techniques
Aprreciating Gui Mendes for putting this out and explaining the concepts of their guard from diff distances. Each techniques explains concept and shows the drills and technique chaining, this for me is the best way to learn. Light bulbs goes for each details explained.

I received my Black Belt a few months ago. I still had holes in my guard. This instructional is so amazing 👏�. Highly technically and easy to understand. Awesome! Very very detailed and thorough. I love that he instructs on the different distances of guard. This is a concept Ive become familiar with through experience, and if I wouldve had this when I first started it wouldve helped my game so much more!
Excellent Breakdown of the Position
I learn best when the instructor breaks down the philosophy of the position. Doing so helps me understand what techniques work best under different circumstances. Professor Mendes does this exceptionally well. I've already incorporated a lot of what I learned into my fledgling BJJ game.

The instructional categorises the type of guards according to the distance between both opponents and comes across general concepts implied at each situation. Although this instructional is not approached from the perspective of a fixed system but from general concepts, it gives some insights/techniques to be used in the situations considered. That information was quite useful to me so I recommend it.

It’s instructional has its value and use butter someone who’s been training for a while, I feel like it’s lacking crucial details. I would recommend it for blue belts and under but if you have been doing jiu-jitsu consistently for a couple years, you shouldn’t expect to learn anything new.

This is a great instructional as it offers a different perspective on approaching jiu-jitsu. Rather than playing different guards, it shows how to manage the distance and use different positions/guards as tools and not as end goals.
