I think it is a conceptual approach that I need
Gui breaks down the distance in a match how important it is to know what you have to do but more importantly knowing what your opponent is likely to do. This concept of distance is not usually discussed in class or if it is it's vague so I've never really understood the importance of distance until now ! It's critical to KNOW what stage you are at in a match (far close contact) so you can then utilize the appropriate technique accordingly. Gui breaks it down so I could understand the concept of distance and if I can learn from a world champion you bet I will !
great video and good instructions. but extremely annoying that this rating box is on the to of the video
I really like the way Gui emphasizes concepts over individual techniques.

I have both 'understanding distance' series and I think this approach is very helpful to understand and build a passing system of my own. Highly recommend! Gui's explanation and demonstration is top notch as expected and Tainan must be the most powerful uke ever!

Great breakdown in passing concepts and strategy, it’s helping me as an instructor to break it down and run my class more like a group interactive collaborative style instead of just showing technique.
