Craig never disappoints. There are a lot of detailed finishing mechanics and entries for a very underutilized submission. Just buy it.
With so much focus on Heel Hooks, it’s good to be able to use this instructional to put training partners in dilemmas with additional leg attacks. Great, unique instructional.
wonderful
Craig definitely knows his stuff, and there are some really excellent points made in this instructional. The Corkscrew and overall knee control ideas laid out have definitely lead to an increase in my own leg lock finishes. Drawbacks would be the "jokes" that interrupt a quality instructional and also the fact that Jones' voice is hard to understand throughout the DVD.
excellent details on knee bar
There are a lot of great concepts and entries
Hilarious, Technical, and Now I Fear No Kneebar Craig Jones’ You Can’t Knee Bar Me is exactly what you'd expect: hilarious, sharp, and sneakily genius. Not only did I laugh out loud more than once, but I also walked away with a legit understanding of how to defend and counter leg attacks—especially the dreaded kneebar. Craig’s style is equal parts comedy and technical wizardry. He manages to make even complex concepts feel simple and digestible, and his approach to neutralizing kneebars is smart, structured, and actually works—even when you're not the most flexible guy in the room (I’m 50... my hamstrings filed for early retirement). Highlights: Breakdown of positioning, timing, and reactions that let you stop the kneebar before it even gets started. Solid counters that turn defense into offense—because making the leg locker regret their life choices is just good jiu-jitsu. Craig’s humor keeps you engaged while you absorb serious, competition-tested technique. Perfect for older grapplers who want to defend their legs without sacrificing their knees (or dignity). Whether you’re constantly getting leg attacked or just want to understand the dark magic behind kneebars, this instructional delivers. Craig makes it fun—and functional. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their leg defense and laugh while they learn.
If you can't tell, Craig knows just about all there is to know about modern grappling. His details are amazing throughout the instructional.
covers knee bar finishing mechanics and entries. Includes rolling footage, highly recommend
Craig goes into various details that I’ve never heard before explaining knee bars and how to get the most out of hitting them. I was impressed by how long and how many ways knee bars can be done.
I'm
great
Love Craig’s instructionals. This one is no exception.
Craig Jones brings humour and character to the videos while also delivery excellent techniques.
Goooood
Knees
Pop
Pretty good for the price on daily deals, I like Craigs wrestle heavy with trap setting gaming.
good
Craig Jones delivers an outstanding selection of techniques and valuable details for attacking knee bars. The small details, in particular, make a huge difference and help perfect the technique. The only downside is that a more in-depth look at defense would have been nice to complete the instructional. Still, it's a great resource for anyone looking to improve their leg lock game!
But after watching this entire video, I have confidence I will soon.
Very good
This instruction was a great investment as I wanted to start getting familiar with leg locks. I was able to use the moves very quickly in open sparing as many of them only require a few steps and minimal set up. the knee bar quickly became a part of my game for quick subs, and guard passing
I’m a huge Craig Jones fan but train primarily in the Gi. After learning just a few of these attacks I started seeing kneebars all over the place and realizing how poorly most of us Gi players defend our legs. If you want to up your game in a hurry and start mixing your attacks between the upper and lower body I highly recommend this one.
This instructional was great for completing my open guard game. Working on my k-guard atm and it's superannoying when they backstep. This instructional suggests a great way to deal with it. Of course there is much more. I also appreciate the details in the 1st part.
