This series has been incredible for my game - I think the techniques can be applied by nearly any player, so even if you are younger and fitter, these are great ways to conserve energy and build efficiency.
Excellent and thorough
Excellent walk through for not only older Bjj players but also inexperienced and older BJJ player. Great strategy and flow of movements for those of us just starting out. Simple and easy to understand content.
Helped me feel more comfortable from bottom with a roadmap of what and why you do something
It was really helpful to have a roadmap of what to do and understand why
This video series is perfect not just for an older person, but any age practitioner. I am older, but still rolling with younger players. I feel like this helped me to not rely on strength as much and focus more on the techniques.
Really put a new perspective on my game.
John structures lessons well. Easy to follow. Broken down in ideal video lengths
Interesting
great details
Very useful video that has helped me during practice
As an older Judo/Bjj practitioner I often fin myself in the bottom position against younger players, these videos have helped me improve my defense and overall ground game.
First-=rate description
Great Techniques
As any of Danaher's instructional, this one goes deep in details on a various situations we encounter in real sparring and competition situations.
"It has been an immense inspiration for my jiu-jitsu."
As always with Danaher, it's comprehensive, but incredibly well explained. It did feel like something more like a simplified game plan (or, better, multiple) would have been really helpful. Especially if Danaher had explained the strengths and weaknesses of various approaches.
Danaher does it again, he gives you an excellent game plan for older bottom players.
Great detailed information
I really appreciate how John goes into deep detail with his concepts and strategies, to not just explain how something is done but more importantly why. I simply can’t get a thorough understanding, or in depth explanations like this during my 1 hour BJJ classes.
you have a way to roll with people who are younger and faster and when you are beat in your last roll
Lots of small improvements to my game by covering many of these basics in more detail with more focus on slowing things down
Starting Jiu Jitsu in my 30’s this is a must!
Yep, I came back to check this
Very good game plan for an old person like myself. Very detailed and easy to understand.
