Danaher does it again with ability to break down the top gi game for us that are older and less athletic!
This was a great video and help me out a-lot in my game. Was able to see the difference immediately.
Excellent for older or less athletic players
Masterpiece instructional!
Great instructional!
Amazing explaining about the concepts
Picked up Ageless Jiu Jitsu (top and bottom) and can undoubtedly say that my game has improved since I've been studying this series. Danaher gives us older gents a lot to work with and it translates directly into rolls. I like that he not only goes over the moves, but explains concepts so that when things don't go as planned (they never do) during a roll, I am not chasing moves, but am looking instead at how to improve my situation...and the game he provides in this instructional gives plenty of options. Tons of detail (like most of his work), but not so much that I felt like I was constantly skipping through. Highly recommended.
Great instructional
Great video as always from John Danaher
I love this series. Starting out as an older practitioner I struggled to pass my Opponent’s guard and secure a position. This is a very in depth course and not something you’re going to get through quickly. But I started seeing immediate results. Danaher lays out such detail on systematically passing that it is not only effective but allows me to conserve energy in the process.
Danaher never disappoints with the extremely detailed explanations. Another must have for old people to improve the game against younger stronger players.
I’m 43 years old and train 4-5 days a week. Details in this course help me still be competitive and respected onthe mats.
Best top game for the over 40-50
As I do BJJ and age, I find myself wanting to get back to basics and move away from flashy social media techniques. John Danaher has the best roadmap for aging grapplers that I have seen thus far. A few years ago, I would have never considered this DVD. Various injuries and an influx of young, explosive grapplers have made me reconsider. Now after going through this series, I feel like I have a good game plan to move forward with BJJ for the next 20+ years. Thanks Mr. Danaher!
I'm getting old and my body doesn't work as well do to injuries and lessened recovery. This is a great instructional and better in conjunction with the bottom game. It's awesome and I recommend it to anyone.
Danaher is simply the best at detail! Not a lot of submissions here but world class instruction!
snap down with power hand grip
It was a great experience I was even able to put something into practice at a tournament
great class
Love this. Life and health have kept me off the mats for extended periods. This kind of game plan is exactly what I needed for my return.
There are now more options from the top position
Excellent details on what works best from the top for us older guys!
Excellent details
Has been useful since white belt, and has helped incredibly with half guard passing and strangles at blue belt. Congrats to uke Placido for the worlds gold medal! He is opinionated in this instructional in the Ezequiel videos
Really comprehensive top game plan that requires as little athleticism as possible.
