Another great instructional by Roy Dean. I like the way he teaches.
One of my go to instructionals to review basics.
It has been a great help in obtaining my blue belt.
Very well explained techniques with amazing cinematography. Highly recommended.
Great instruction, beautiful production.
Simple, to the point. Has helped me a lot as a beginner!
Super Video!
If there is something I love to Roy Dean are his technical details that improves your bjj.
I am a blue belt looking to solidify my knowledge at this level. This was the perfect choice.
Covers a ton of excellent content very efficiently. Good production quality. Quick moving so you will want to watch several times when trying to improve the demonstrated skills.
Roy is a great instructor and very easy to follow. Very articulate and detailed when showing techniques.
Beautifully shot production, great instruction.
I actually had this instructional from another distributor. One of my favorites, had to buy this one from BJJ Fananatics when I found that there was now a version with an index to go to each technique within each chapter!
I love a Roy Dean's style of teaching.
I’m a big fan of Roy Deans way of tracing bjj
Thank you Roy Dean Good video for beginners to have the details that matters in your discovery of BJJ
The Best Starter Video for building fundamentals!!!!
This is an excellent survey of foundational BJJ techniques, covering a wide range of different skills. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is that it has to be watched in a web browser (rather than the app) and has no chapter divisions, which makes it challenging to refer back to specific sections or tecniques. For a video that is intended to be a reference work, that's not ideal.
Excellent instruction and video production. My only suggestion is to break it up into segments rather one single video that starts at the beginning every new play.
As an instructor as use Roy Dean's courses as an overview for my blue belt requirements. Lots of great fundamentals!
I bought Blue Belt requirements and then bought the whole collection. Roy Dean is one of the guys whose style is just beautiful, I also like the fact that his students also do continue to go through grading tests. It's such a fountain of knowledge. Pay attention to what Roy Dean says in his videos, it will serve you well.
it helped me to get my new belt
Roy always has the highest quality content. Makes the difficult seem simple.
I started bjj learning these foundations and have never forgotten these movements. I hope to use these to pass in to the next generation. Roy is a detailed teacher and gives a great curriculum for us to learn!
Roy goes over all the stuff I'm learning at my club, but adds some unique twists on things in a helpful manner.
