Very good concept for level up the guard ! This concept is also very useful for no gi BJJ.

This diamond concept is so useful for guard retention, because with only few mechanics to understand you can defend every common scenario of guard pass. I really like the fact that all these concepts apply to everyone because they don't rely on attributes, it's only proper body mechanics and alignment. Xande is great in his explanations, everything is clear and simple and easy to apply on sparring right after seing the instructional. A great purchase !

Wonderful Instructional! I highly recommend this title . Its great as a stand alone instructional are as a companion to the Jiu Jitsu University book. If you have trouble escaping positions this is for you.
