Any level of grappler will benefit from this video. You will find yourself going back and reviewing positions over and over.
If you are committed to spending time as a Jiu Jitsu player, this defensive instructional video is a must.
In my opinion the best Coach ever. Simple but Sell working techniques
Entertaining and informative like all of Craig's stuff, great for beginners, but useful for refining if you're more experienced as well.

Great detail very helpful
Its the best experience due to the fact that craig jones is entertaining to watch and learning from.
Very useful great Instructional
Something for all levels of grapple in this video. I found the back escapes especially useful
I have especially referred back to the back defense section multiple times and used the principles so often that I now very seldom find myself in danger in this position.
Craig delivers us simples ways to escape from mains dangerous positions. Back, side control and mount. No need of hundred of techniques just 1-2 are enough. The best is how Craig teaches us. Funny and interesting. Too many teachers are horrible to listen without fall to sleep even if the techniques are interesting.
Imagine 2hours of only being edged, super frustrating…for them I mean
great instruction
It was my first purchase from Craig Jones. His teaching style is simple, easily understandable and without fluff. Very satisfied with my choice.
The techniques shared here seem informed by a more wholistic view of bjj than isolated positional escapes. Recommend for sure.

Fundamental concepts that apply at all levels of grappling.

My Daily Survival Manual—Craig Jones to the Rescue (Again) Craig Jones’ Don’t Be Finished: Edging Yourself Out of Danger is hands-down one of the most practical and usable instructionals I’ve ever added to my library. I use it daily in training, especially when I inevitably find myself in a terrible spot thinking, “Well, this is how it ends…”—then I remember Craig’s voice in my head and somehow wiggle out like I meant to do that. This isn’t your typical flashy escape series—it’s a real-world guide to survival. Craig gives you the tools to stay calm under pressure and escape without relying on freak athleticism or spinning like a breakdancer (which, at 50, is definitely not on the menu). Why I keep going back to it: Excellent details on escaping bad positions with control, not desperation. Great use of humor while still delivering sharp technical concepts. Teaches you how to avoid getting finished even when you're deep in the danger zone. Makes you feel like you always have a way out—unless Craig is the one trying to finish you. If you roll regularly, and especially if you're not always the hammer in training, this instructional is a game-changer. Craig somehow makes defense cool—and makes not getting tapped a skill you can actually practice and improve. Highly recommend.
