Chris is very articulate and sharp. Innovative concepts. Very valuable ideas for my guard game. Thanks.
Good info on straight ankle, aoki, and rev aoki
Game plan for guard player
Great interpretation of modern Open Guard. Good conceptual approach.
I found this to be very interesting, as it was very good at introducing some concepts, but got very advanced in some options that I hadn't seen before. The entry to double 50 from RDLR is an example.
Will spend my time reviewing these details to add to my game
don't stand up
Very clear instructions and awesome submissions from places your wouldn’t think you could get a sub from
Really like this format, its more about different concepts with techniques displaying the concepts. I wish Chris would show some sparring footage, but awesome instructional overall
Good details on concepts from a different perspective
Another of the bteam boys putting out A class content
it is a gem
I like how chris flows in his guard and it shows in these concepts. it's not just I'm a leg locker or I'm a wrestler it's being effective in both manners in addition to supine guards. good stuff
Concise and to the point. For some one who knows nothing about leg locks I find Gordon Ryans or John Danahers series as being better for understanding leg locks as a whole, but this instructional is amazing for seeing how someone that's as high level as Chris applies leg locks. It also just has useful techniques that can be quickly applied. Fair warning there are some sections like Octopus guard that need a separate instructional to be applied, but as someone who had bought an octopus guard before hand, I found Chris's explanation for when to use it very helpful, so don't think that it's lack of depth in that area means it's not still useful.
Well produced and concise
Very practical with some great insights. Helped me a lot
good stuff
Awesome material. I play an outside guard heavy game so primarily inside heel hook focus. There are some really great entries in this set to add into the mix and using false reap to get there will be a nice change up surprise element to my game. Good work Tay Tay
Awesome detail, really helped my retention
An excellent tutorial style instructional by Chris Wojcik covering aspects of guard retention with upper & lower body attacks, double pull position and 50/50 position.
great details
Ties together a lot of great insights into many aspects of the current meta.
A really good overview of all things sitting and supine. Chris is a really good communicator with clear and precise language, without too much fluff. Production quality is also very good, nice clear audio and without some of the other issues apparent in other instructionals.
