Excellent explanation of every technique; not overly complicated, and not overly simplified. It's just right. Easy to follow and implement. The Skill Acquisition section is also helpful for revisiting the techniques covered in the Instruction section, cementing them in memory, and seeing students form the habits taught and struggle along the way, as I myself do when learning new techniques. I also greatly appreciate the Good News of the Good News section--also very well presented. Thank you, Placido, for sharing your jiu jitsu knowledge and the Good News!

I love how he gets to the point and after you are able to see it used in a practical setting. This was a great way to learn these important principles.

Still you had somthing to offer here. The drilling concepts and details on generating momentum to stay off the back and facilitate various pin escapes has helped me on the mats tremendously. I was encouraged that you shared the Gospel here. This is very good, I think he does himself a disservice by saying the more he talks the less smarter he sounds, I honestly think this is an excellent, clear and very valuable instructional.
