very technical and great way to master a move
Instruction vraiment top les détails sont précis et bien expliqué.
The first three chapters alone make Feet to the Floor, Partly One worth watching. They are encouraging, influential, and foundational in a way that many grapplers overlook. By focusing on grip-breaking, movement, stance, and positional dominance before introducing throws, Danaher provides a blueprint for long-term success in stand-up grappling. If you care about understanding takedowns at a deep, structural level—not just collecting techniques—this instructional delivers.

Great Video course
I bought this video because my standing game is less developed than my ground game, and I was hoping it would help. (It did.) I was pleasantly surprised to see John sharing some of his wisdom from his bouncer days. I wasn't expecting that, but it was a definite bonus!
Great video course
Massive amount of practical information
A massive amount of info.. but well explained clearly and simply by John
I like how John shows each move in great detail, while he also lists common mistakes with the move. He also speaks to the practicality of the moves from a point system or a fight on the street. John is an engineer of jiu jitsu!
Great video
Great Video!
Worth it alone for the self defence section
Worth it alone for the self-defence section
Worth it for the self defense section alone
Simplifying the difficulty of take downs and the like
This was desperately needed and John Danaher was the one who had to do it. There is no person alive that spells out the fundamental understanding and core concepts of BJJ like John. Don’t sleep on John’s Farther Faster and Feet to Floor series if you only do no-gi. His gi instrumental are where his best fundamentals are taught. Have almost everything he has put out and love it all but the no-gi material assumes you already have the base concepts presented in his gi series. Well worth the cost.
john is the man
I started in BJJ without stand-up, but realized my game was incomplete. This DVD helped me understand the basics and eventually got me to a point where I feel comfortable standing up and getting a takedown.
Must have for all students of Jiu Jitsu
Practical takedowns that don't require a ton of athleticism.
Cannot go wrong with this purchase. I have gone through this instructional many times, always picking up extra details that are paramount for standing position.
awesome
