Some great concepts and positions that reflect Neil’s no nonsense approach. This will not be the last instructional of his that I buy! • Catch inspired side control.

  This video was a fantastic purchase, my instructor at my gym uses a lot of catch style wrestling techniques and getting this helps me see more of what my instructor just shows us a little of. This video pairs well with Neil's Catch Wrestling Formula video as well, which is more of a higher level overview of his side control with a lot of cradles and some half guard passes.

  Coach Neil Melanson provided a conceptual and technucal toolkit with particular focus on scarfhold/kesagatame and cradels. Both wspecially the last one is underutilized in jiu jitsu in my opinion. For mevas a less flexible guy they work great! Highly recommend!!
