Excellent material.
Great overview over escapes of common submissions in nogi.
A very good series of escapes. Especially the leg lock aspect, Kimura defense and the Guillotine escapes improved my understanding of these positions. Thank you Mr. Danaher!
Good
My game has improved so much since I started this. John is an amazing professor, I hope to be as good one day!
This is an excellent product with high class material.
As good as always
Still recommend
High-quality instruction that works every time.
Amazing escapes
TBH, this one is my Danaher's favorite instructional. The Escapes series have been really impactful to my Jiu Jitsu!
Love the overview of several escapes and mind shift dowards attacking.
awesome
Amazing
Great video
Hands down one of the best investments I've made in my jiujitsu journey. This instructional is a game-changer. The breakdown of each escape is crystal clear. I've been able to apply these techniques seamlessly in live rolls, and it's saved me from some sticky situations. The content is always well-organized and the tips are super effective. If you're struggling with escapes or just want to improve your overall jiujitsu skills, this video is a must-watch.
Awsome
As a 1 year white belt I've been applying these escapes successfully against purple belts. Great course. Cons: Naming of sections are not useful for quick navigation - escapes 2, 3, 4 do not tell me anything. And also I wish he showed more ankle locks instead of just heel hooks and toe holds (which as a white belt I shouldn't do).
I learned a lot from this instructional. Glad to add it to my collection!
Ok so you can't win if you're sub'd, believe what you will but you will be there. escape
insightful
Very easy to follow and implement. Discusses technique but also concepts which can be applied across scenarios outside of these specific escapes.
I gained a ton of knowledge from this instructional. I have a bad neck so the escapes for the guillotine was my favorite section! Thank you!
John Danaher's New Wave Jiu Jitsu revolutionized my understanding of escapes and submissions, providing me with a structured yet innovative approach that has significantly improved my game. His precise breakdowns and philosophical insights made complex techniques feel intuitive, elevating both my confidence and effectiveness on the mat.
