This series has changed my view of mount.
Finished already and it’s amazing
Easy to apply and a very effective mounted pin gameplan.
Best instructional I have found on converting pins into submissions!
There's a lot to learn from this instructional, if you apply yourself it will improve your BJJ game.
Great details on the mount from arguably the greatest BJJ coach in the world! Highly recommended!
Some of this was entirely new stuff I'd never seen before, but some of it filled in the details I was missing in order to successfully execute moves I "knew" but had never been able to make work. His explanation of the ratchet method alone was worth the purchase price of the video. Instant game changer
This instructional made my mount so much more dangerous. The systematic/simple nature makes it super easy to implement immediately
Great!
Tons of step by step details.
massive improvement in my ability to maintain mount.
great material from the man himself
Will be using this to work on my mount attacks
Worth it
Great instructional to understand on how to pin people in the mount.
Almost finishing this instructional and I can only say it has helped a lot to understand on how to pin people in mount.
Danaher's mount system has helped me maintain mount, choose targets and submit. Leveled up my game in a huge way.
John Danaher's "No New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Mounted Pin Attacks - The 4x4 Mount System" is an exceptional instructional that demystifies the complexities of the mounted position in no-gi grappling. Danaher effectively breaks down the 4x4 system, providing clear techniques for control and submission. His focus on practical application and strategic concepts makes it accessible for both beginners and advanced practitioners. This instructional is a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their grappling game from the mount position
This DVD is excellent with quality content regarding all aspects of control and attacking of the mount position
A nice attack system with a high succes rate which is fairly easy to learn with this instructional
amazing breakdown of the top mount position
Overall, I have really enjoyed this instructional. Danaher provides great details and a solid system for getting to the mount and for attacking. Very happy with this purchase.
Changed my outlook on the Mount. If you are looking for a holistic, comprehensive and complete introduction or you want to improve on something specific. This series is perfectly suited for your needs. Johns content never disappoints.
Incredible instructional! Great 4x4 system that mostly focuses on four no-gi attacks (arm triangles, armbars, mounted triangles, and back attacks) starting from attacking an underhook. Also contains great details on maintaining mount and getting there from both side control and half guard (and notably keeping the underhook from passing from those positions).
lots of repetition with overlap but really helps to ingrain the concepts
