Excellent resource and invaluable insight.
Definitely this instructional has helped me be more successful with my takedowns in training and competitions. Getting more takedowns and starting matches from better positions has helped a lot!!!
Like all instructional videos, the angle shots and repetition of techniques facilitate learning.
This instructional has helped my no gi game a lot. Starting from standing has always been a problem for me in No Gi, but this instructional has helped me fix my weakness. I don't like shooting in and getting sprawled on, and this instructional gives many alternatives.
Clear and concise, good to follow, no fancy stuff.
recently ive been trying to find a great instructional that i can sit back and take notes of what i need to focus on for mma. in this video i find it clear that i can utilize a underhook properly and use it in many various ways, since i end up in this position alot. cant wait to be hitting these tricks in my future mma bouts.
Some great techniques on this one. Satoshi Ishii is a great teaches even if his English is not that good.
It's good material, he goes over high percentage and easy to apply no-gi applications, but the language barrier makes it a little difficult to understand concepts as to why he's doing certain things.
Great instructional!
Short but interesting
Good foundation for incorporating Judo into your No Gi stand up game.
Good introduction to Judo from basic tie ups used in all forms of grappling.
Very helpful insights
This instructional will improve your No Gi Grappling for sure.

excellent
I really enjoyed this. It gets straight to the point and even includes a solid ground game session. The Kimura north-south technique was particularly helpful and well-explained. Great content overall.
Great
There are techniques i here that apply to mma as well
Direct, objetive but without been shallow.
When we participate in some competions of grappling and/ or Jiu-jitsu, many athletes have already had wrestling skills and they use them. On the other hand, JUDO skills are not so popular as wrestling ones. Then we can successfully use JUDO skills there. But we cannot usually find good instructors and instruction videos for grappling and Jiu-jitsu, since most of coaches become JUDO field's coaches. However ex-Olympic champion, Mr. Satoshi Ishii left JUDO world and he tries many battle fields, such as MMA, boxing, etc. to compete. That's why he have enough knowledge and experiences of MMA, grappling and so on. Therefore this instruction video is one of the best one to achieve enough skills of JUDO to be able to use them for grappling and jiu-jitsu, etc. Thank you, Satoshi !!
Lovely single Leg takedown nogi feint into an underhook or upper-body clinch by Satoshi Ishii. Great way to get the grips without having the gi🙏
