This was a real help considering I don’t always have time to go to class or have a training partner nearby
Great practice
Awesome free course that covers good solo drills
Great free course with great solo drills.
I just train for self defense and fitness. this is exactly what i needed, to know exactly what to practice. 5/5 john goes into intricate detail and breaks it down better than any coach i have ever met.
I haven’t been able to see this purchase. I followed directions, and it did not show up.
I really like the way he explains the subject of his courses, and it's not different with this one. The master explain everything in detail, so we know what to do and why to do it.
John provides a clear and concise way in performing the correct way in executing Bjj basic movements.
Wealth of information.
Great solo drills of movement and sweeping.
Fundamentals. Never Forget!
The techniques in this instructional are so critical at forming the base of your jiujitsu abilities that it should be mandator for everyone to watch this
I am a Jiujitsu white belt with a pretty solid wrestling background. So as far as movement and understanding positioning I already have that down. What I believe this helped out with most is learning to understand how to effectively fight from my back. As a wrestler we typically stay off our backs by any means necessary. In Jiujitsu it is the opposite. So having ways I could get more comfortable on my back while also having an understanding as to how and why certain movement patterns from my back were important and useful when actually facing an opponent. Though this is solo drills, him bringing in a partner to show the carry over to real situations was a great addition to the lessons. This also gives you a way to structure these drills in which you can make them into a daily workout which is exactly what I needed for in between training days in the gym. Great instructional overall for both beginners and intermediate practitioners.
