I love how easy to digest this was, along with the inner scoop we get from Andre's personal tweaking. Brilliant purchase!
Great teacher and excellent details to finish takedowns. They are normally hard to finish, but the content here will helped any seasoned grappler or beginner.
A. G. covers single and double leg takedowns in a simple way with great details. He points out the do´s and dont´s when you go for this takedowns as well as the the dangers you have to be aware of when you hunt for the moves. It´s about entries and finishes of the takedowns startet by eplaining the concepts and propper handfighting. He also shows how to get to the back and finish from there via bodylock. Highly recommend!
Andre is a good teacher and explains techniques very simply. Only suggestions is for the price perhaps more could be covered - it is relatively basic in its focus on a single legs and double legs.
Fantastic instructional on takedowns in bjj. Andre has a real talent at distilling the core techniques that can change your game rapidly.
Actually a great instructional. Took a few simple consepts and was able to apply them from stand up in the first weak of purchasing.
As a wrestler, this was helpful for transitioning wrestling skills for grappling.
It was perfect for overcoming takedowns that I'm not good at.
Very helpful
Great instruction and high percentage techniques, just wish video was a little bit higher (720p)
Great instructional by Galvao.
Great series
Great instructions. To embed them, you have to practice practice practice. But these are high percentage techniques.
Excellent work from Andre. Great explanation on techniques.
After testing out a few different instructional from Fanatics, I quickly realized Professor Galvao’s skills and more importantly, his teaching methods are an amazing supplemental to training. I found myself using techniques and philosophies so much that I also signed up for Atosonline membership. Looking forward to more!
Good to learn takedown in grapring. Start from fundamental but the technique is very effective.
Great dvd! Shows you how to enter from the no-contact range with a blast-double then switch to a regular double if and when opponents defends. It also shows how to get single-legs from various clinches and uniquely without a drop-step ( knee on ground) or without having to change stances if they are opposite side forward. Then various ways to finish and how to deal with your opponents defence. A very effective and simple systematic approach!
Phenomenal instruction from Galvao particularly liked the ram and double leg finishes
My favorite lesson so far.
Takes all the guess work out of trying to figure out best moves. This dude's the greatest.
I started doing reliable takedowns after this materials. I drilled accordingly and used them in the past few weeks. Now I can reliably takedown same level belts and people with MMA training. I would say this instructional is scientific and if you need only one instructional for takedown from beginner level to advance, this is the one you are looking for
I love the content on this easy to follow...
I loved it. Well explained techniques
I love the techniques I am learning so far!
I grew up wrestling, so takedowns are a strength for me. However, I noticed that when I rolled against higher belts, I fell into a lot of traps. Galvao's instructional has already helped me to fine tune aspects of my game to avoid guillotines and translate my wrestling to BJJ. Thoroughly recommend!
