  This is an awesome instructional and one of the only instructions out there dedicated to side triangles. I know John Dannaher and Gordon Ryan cover it but it will only make up one chapter at best of the entire instructional. Neil has gone above and beyond by producing an entire instructional dedicated just to this topic too many people in BJJ are sleeping on this move so you will get a leg up on your training partners.

• Sneaky Yoko Sankaku

  The beginning of the DVD was a bit sloppy with Mendelson having to keep his legs in loose/unlocked position to keep his uke conscious. However, he quickly moves on to show lots of gems. My favorites are locking up Yoko sankaku from unexpected bottom positions like bottom butterfly half guard.

  Anyone who follows Melanson's career knows he's a triangle fanatic. As an older grappler who's not a big closed guard player, this instructional gave me a plethora of options to attack the triangle from a slew of different positions.
