• Essential.

  If you want to learn how to not get your legs broken, you must pick this up and study it in depth and apply it. Outstanding instructional. I looked around for reviews on it compared to other instructionals and I'd say it covers a vast majority of what you will run into. There are some niche attacks that arent covered, but this will give you the tools and concepts to deal with these. Pick this up ASAP and get good.

• Great Instructional!

  This is a very thorough instructional. The length might seem intimidating, but a lot of the material is repeated so that you can use this as a reference rather than a front-to-back learning experience. For example, if you want to start with escapes from cross ashi, you can go straight to chapter 6 - you don't need to start with chapter 1 and go through because he repeats any necessary info along the way. This makes it seem a little repetitive if you watch front-to-back, but overall I'm glad he structured it this way in case I ever need to come back and review a section later.
