Great instructional!
Lots of really helpful stuff in here that I’ve been able to use to improve my game already. Great stuf.
This is cool
Great concept and system to utilize wrestling from the bottom position. Make the guy on top work the whole time.👍
I see the concept everywhere when rolling now. and the way Neil teaches gives me the tools to mix and match techniques to find solutions to what's infront of you.
awesome instructional of all sorts of catch wrestling type of attacks and submissions from your butt.
I absolutely love how practical a lot of Niel's moves are. A lot of the time although I enjoy intricate moves that and advanced systems like the millions of guards, the Snap Guard remains potent because it offers you a lot of opportunity to strike and combo with others techniques, it is a great starting point for individuals who already have solid defense and want to make their offense stem from counters which is much more realistic in an mma setting where both individuals know what they are doing.
I have everything neil puts out. Nasty stuff. Love it
Great details an great explanations. its a must for catch fans and bjj fanatics!
As a scrambler mostly looking for top positions, when I am playing guard this game definitely made me feel comfortable creating a scramble from the snap guard.
Coach Neil's unique and refreshing vision of grappling is a true hybrid that is based on principles and allows for growth and expansion.
Neil gives you techniques, but more importantly concepts. His blend of BJJ and Catch is the future.
This content and its delivery by Neil are both outstanding. I also have "The Catch Wrestling Formula" by Neil, and it also excellent. He has provided answers to many of the questions I had when I was in some of the positions covered in his content. He also provided answers to some of the questions I was too ignorant to even have! He opened my eyes to many possibilities I was unaware of. His techniques are unexpected, unorthodox, and do not require the agility or flexibility of a 7-year-old female gymnast. His delivery is unhurried and comprehensive, and he covers the small details. There is also a tie-in to the Williams Guard (among many other things), which Neil calls the Shoulder Pin, and I appreciate the novel ways Neil shows how to enter into it. Overall, an excellent presentation.
A steal for the price. Lit video. Gets the gears turning and makes you more active in your guard sequences. Was my first exposure to his teaching style and I am officially hooked.
Awesome as usual. All his stuff is great
Neil Melanson is an exceptional coach. He explains the details in great detail and shows why and how the techniques should work. This will not be my last instructional from him ;-)
Excellent blend of Exquisitely Filthy Grappling moves with a touch of humor to keep it just lite enough. Explanations are right down and dirty. Neil has one of the most diverse guard games out there. I recommend this one to all Grapplers.
Excellent !
Innovative and vicious as always, I cannot wait to get back to training full- time to drill, and maybe introduce my teammates to, these techniques. Neil is becoming a mainstay in my grappling education and library. 🙏❤️️🙌:muscle:
I got this a few months back and started to play around with some of the techniques and so far it worked great for me to slowly incoorperate some of Neils ideas into my game. After almost 6 months since i first got it I can say that the amount of Detail is very great and after trying some moves while rolling I can go back and check out what could have been the Problem. Great Explaination and Detail
This is a great concept that blends wrestling with Jiu Jitsu. Snap Guard and the Shin Whizzer are a great way to take the fight to your opponent.
I really like the Content of the series and how well it is explained. The Contents are very well explained and shown from different angles so everyone can understand what s going on. I am far from finishing the whole DVD but i m really Looking Forward to work on my snap guard in the next years.
Great instructional
Very good stuff. This video is a unique concept about a guard that you dont see every day. If you want something different than what's out there, this is for you. It's good, useable moves.
I love Neil's attention to detail on all his training's. This one is very simple and you can get to using these moves almost instantaneously. Adding so much more to my game with this snap guard system, looking forward to mastering it now.
