This video has positively changed my perception of Kame Guard.
WOW
Being such a long time practitioner, Eduardo has so many little things that will make your turtle much more problematic for your opponent. I've been working turtle many years and found lots of gems here
Very insightful concepts. Definitely helped my turtle game
Very insightful
great details
The turtle position is not just for escaping, but also for attacking!
great content
Changed my game
Ggreat
This is a great primer for learning the basics of turtle, and how you can make a seemingly defensive guard a very scary guard to attack from.
Refreshing, different take on turtle position.
This helped me a lot in my defensive bjj. Telles and Mihkelson both learned me a lot so even high level black belts have trouble finishing me.
A very good instructional presenting detailed concepts of the Turtle Guard. Excellent details!!
awesome
it is good and very sotf movement. use gravity.
Professor Telles' new turtle instructional is a unique experience that stands out in more ways than one. Right from the start, it's clear that Telles brings an unusual level of relaxation and creativity to the mat, making this video not just instructional but also unexpectedly entertaining. His laid-back approach to teaching is almost contagious, encouraging viewers to go with the flow, quite literally. The techniques themselves are solid, with Telles demonstrating his signature turtle guard and other moves with a distinctively mellow precision. His explanations are clear, yet there's a certain whimsical spontaneity in how he transitions between concepts, as if he's not just teaching but also exploring new ideas on the fly. It’s this offbeat energy that makes the instructional both enlightening and oddly hilarious. If you're looking to learn some effective BJJ techniques while also enjoying a few unintended chuckles, this video is definitely worth a watch. Telles might just inspire you to relax a bit more on the mat—and perhaps off it, too.
This is one of the fundamental instructionals for modern grappling
Face it, you signed up to bjj to fight without wrestling or taking punches. This is a great guard to learn from the source himself for us lazy but effective grapplers.
This is great unorthodox stuff to add. especially for a wrestler. our games are usually pretty straightforward but this is some good stuff that's plug and play for a wrestler, even though it's weird. Also it comes with some gems on choke and guillotine defense.
Great instructional for the price really recommended, deep into the techniques.
Got tired of having a lazy turtle, picked this up, now I have an energetic turtle
Some smart ideas and intuitive techniques for your beginning to average player.
I've transformed my perception of the turtle guard. It helped me gain a deeper insight into defensive techniques."
Tons of good little details from old school fundamental concepts. Implementing a strong turtle guard will change your game.
