The reviews
Very useful for mma
Its essential for mma to keep the fight on the feet and this instructional helps a lot
unique stuff
the elbow frame is something I have never seen, at least in this context and to this extent
Unstoppable Standups
This video contains some interesting concepts, but do not expect a clear, specific strategy for common scenarios that come up in grappling. It seems that they spend a great deal of discussion time dwelling on superficial remarks. While the instructors are clear, I think I need more time at the gym to practice their ideas, to see if they work. In the end, you need patience for this instructional; it is not the place for a fast lesson.
Very interesting and creative
Ideas mix well with the stuff Craig Jones talks about
Unstoppable Standups
Great instructional video!
Could have been a 10 min video
The content was valuable, but this whole thing could have been a 10 minute video. I would say it was a worthwhile watch overall though
Some interesting concepts
There are a few interesting approaches to the idea of getting up here. Different stuff from Craig Jones’ Just Stand Up too.
Amazing Video Course!
Highly recommended!!!
Unstoppable Standups by Chris Paines and Charles Harriott.
Lots of good escapes and techniques
it is better than guard retention
Highly recommend
All of Chris Paines instructionals are top tier. Excellent defensive concept based BJJ.
Unstoppable Standups
Great techniques, elbow frame is a useful concept
innovative
good and new way to look at standups
First half vs seond half
The first half of the instructional is kind of weird. But the second half is very useful
Very Insightful
Great addition to your bottom game. Heisting out even if it’s not all the way to your feet but just to reguard to prevent the pass and reset your guard is very useful.
Cant wait to get back training
Tried to start lifting too early and re injured my shoulder. Been spending the time I'd normally be training watching instructionals and working on physio exercises. Can't wait to get back and start using and hope to implement the no parasite idea into our academies training. Can't wait to get proficient at the elbow frame as well, it looks really fun and effective. I think I'm also going to ask my training partners for certain drills we do to start training with the 3 win rule they talked about. It's a great idea that we dont currently use, but i think it will help progress everyone at the academy. Well done gentlemen.
