Best source for learning MG tight passing style. Paul's excellent at breaking down the style that made Marcelo's passing so dominant and has been used by many other athletes from their schools.
Paul is such an excellent instructor, really good information and I need to dive into it a lot more because I have a feeling it will be a resource to use for a long time.
Paul does a great job teaching these no gi pressure passes. Great info

Great content. Awesome details. This is an excellent instructional.
Paul's one of my favorite instructors, high content is concise and applicable to beginners and experts a like.
I have 6 series from Paul. There is nothing of his I will not purchase! The level of detail, clarity and dedication to his craft is evident in every series. Apart from the techniques he adds simple game changing concepts in every series. Well worth the money at full price. More please :-)
Great Half guard passing centric DVD
Paul is one of the great instructors of bjj. This series well explained and easy to follow. The details are amazing, and the progression from position to position is well thought out.
Right off the bat understand that as an instructor, Paul is very accomplished. All his instructional videos are lauded as the gold standard in whatever he is teaching. I would say Paul is on par with Danaher, in some cases better in how he reaches points and conclusions very simply and effectively. That’s really it with Paul, he portrays complex ideas very easily. He doesn’t have to say much, because he shows you and it all adds up. So as a teacher, you’re getting a premium experience. So why this? His name alone was enough to draw me, but I was hooked in the system he presents. Inch by inch you learn to navigate guard passing. You learn about posts, over/underhooks, leg placement, shoulder pressure, knee cuts, weight distribution, counters to specific scenarios, and more. Good videos have you come away with a move or two that you will use. The best, must have videos are the ones where you come away growing as a practitioner. So far, only Danaher and Paul have given me this. If you’re looking for an extremely in depth system/guide to learning half guard passing, this is the video for you. It’s worth the money, and I will probably remember Paul for the rest of my life.
Paul is by far one of my favourite instructors to watch and learn from and as stated on other reviews here a true hidden gem. Hoping for more content from Paul in the future.
Highly recommended! Paul is one of the best and most technical instructors around. He has helped me improve my bjj game tremendously.
fantastic half guard passing instructional, 100% recommend
Great instructional dvd !!
paul explains techniques clearly and concisely, which makes the system easy to understand and very practical. i learned how to apply pressure in ways i couldn’t before which has changed my jiu jitsu completely. highly recommended this content.
This Passing course is phenomenal. As always, Paul's instructional material is incredibly well put together and highly digestible/immediately applicable. People say it all the time but he really is one of the best coaches on the planet. Without drawing things out and being unnecessarily longwinded like many other instructionals, Paul manages to explain the why's, when's and how's succinctly and articulately. I personally teach many of his systems and methodologies to our students regularly. Really can't recommend this one enough.
I'm lucky enough to train where he teaches. Paul always goes in to depth on each technique and not only explains the application but the philosophy and the "why" on each thing we do. Very glad he made this DVD, it's amazing
Very impressed with this instructional. I think Paul Schreiner is one of the best instructors out there. He truly understands Jiu Jitsu, and has a way of breaking techniques down to their core principals and the key points. He gives you a really clear game plan with a clear sense of direction, and also how to adjust and react to the various defenses you will encounter. I’m looking forward to more of his instructionals with bjjfanatics.
This DVD set is a hidden gem. Paul's ability to take jiujitsu technique and concepts and break them down into a digestible and comprehensive instruction is second to none. As an instructor, Paul is one of the most prolific teachers whom I have had the pleasure of learning from, so when I saw he was releasing this DVD I knew I must buy a copy. Paul has a cerebral and analytical approach to jiujitsu technique which he uses to find the best nomenclature and terminology to express seemingly minute and invisible small details which make all the difference between having a good guard pass and control and having an unstoppable guard pass and control.
Paul Schreiner is one of the best teachers I’ve ever learned from. His precise pressure passing concepts and 1/2 guard details helped me design my personal game and take it to the next level. He has the ability to explain high level concepts in a way that any level of jiu jitsu player can understand and implement. His instructionals are sure to help you see positions and techniques in new ways. For me, his instruction has filled in a lot of the gaps in my game and made everything much tighter and connected.
