Side control escapes
Pedro Sauer is a magician, really like his style of teaching, this instructional is definitely worth it as it gives another perspective on escapes. You can pair this with any other "famous" side control escape dvd for best of both worlds(old school and new) and see the endless opportunities. To me, this instructional is totally worth it, as there are details and techniques I am seeing for the first time. If old school is your thing, do not hesitate to get this. Pedro Sauer is gold.

Can't go wrong with Pedro Sauer
You can't really go wrong with Prof. Pedro Sauer, always nice to see his technique and how simple it is. It might be simple but it takes some time to adjust and fully understand but once done, it sticks with you. Also there are some tips and tricks that I have never seen before, pretty much some old school great solid stuff that has been "lost" in the new BJJ styles.
Solid Instructional
This instructional give exceptional insight on important details to consider when dealing with side control escapes. These details can completely change somebodies approach and success in this position. The instructional also provides several different escapes but is a little light on the details of when each is most appropriate to use. Overall this is a game changing instructional and should be strongly considered for anyone looking to improve from bottom side control.
Smooth Moves from a Legend in the Gentle Art
Wow, I have been training with Master Sauer for 16 years and still I see new details in his techniques every time I see them. What a great set of techniques! I highly recommend this Series.
Best of the best
Those techniques by Pedro Sauer helped me a lot! It was always hard for me to gain some control from the bottom side position especially because I am training with bigger training partners, and this course have helped me a lot to understand where I am doing wrong!

I've rolled with several advanced belts under Master Sauer and always been amazed with their control. More to the point, I've been frustrated when in a dominant position yet am being controlled by my partner from their position. This video illustrates exactly how they are managing to control me and create space and opportunities for escape. Techniques are demonstrated from various angles giving the viewer ample opportunity to understand the mechanics being taught.
