I've being playing guard since blue belt. Most of the techniques here I learned organically during sparring. It's amazing to see the techniques organized into a system of guard retention.
Estou achando fantástico, muitos detalhes para retenção e também de passagem
Excellent seminar, very clear details and easy to follow
Very helpful for my guard game
Great instructional. Lots of details. Organized in a way that's easy to follow and implement. Gotta be an essential for all the white belts.
An absolute masterclass in control and composure. Danaher turns guard retention into a science — explaining angles, frames, and connection in a way that makes every movement make sense. This series doesn’t just improve your guard; it rewires how you think about distance, pressure, and defense. Essential study for anyone serious about building an unpassable guard.
This course gives you the confidence to defend yourself, to be attacked, to defend again, and to initiate the attack when the moment is right. It’s a true gem of knowledge — a priceless treasure for anyone who loves Jiu-Jitsu.
Breaking down guard retention as a function of movement and connection - and how to develop the vision to see when to be defensive and offensive, makes this one of the most helpful of Danaher's instructionals I've used to date.
I'm only a few days in and I've already had some beginner's luck with Danaher's guard retention techniques.
This and pin and turtle escapes are two must haves for new guys!
Really in-depth and broken down to simpler concepts. It helped me a lot to prevent people passing, further enabling me to go on the offence.
The best breakdown of guard retention I’ve ever studied. Danaher covers every detail from movement to posture to specific pass counters. Dense but absolutely essential for anyone serious about jiu-jitsu fundamental
Excellent, systematic approach to guard retention. It has improved my guard game immensely and makes it easier to attack because I have more confidence in my ability to maintain guard.

Very Good Very Good instructional. Teaches alot of underlying theory about positions. Really helps you understand Brazilian jiu jitsu on a deeper level. He gives you a really good understanding of playing guard, with good technique and concepts which you can apply to your game.
Great details and I can apply eat during live rolls.
