Awesome experience. Found the content very useful,
John Danaher’s Kimura Americana Lock series is an awesome instructional. I never really used Americanas before, but after watching this, I started hitting them all the time. He explains things in a simple, clear way that makes it easy to learn and use right away. Super helpful and definitely worth checking out if you want to level up your game. The details he shows really make a big difference, and the way he connects the Kimura and Americana together opened up new options for me. It’s easy to follow even if you’re not super advanced, and it gave me a lot more confidence.
Brilliant in detail , explained with clarity. A fantastic teacher
John is such a great instructor, always explains in such great detail. This has cleaned up my American lock game so much.
Here Danaher shows a new and improved way to do the Americana(American lock) and make it work for you. He shows the common problems and how you can over come them. He also shows more uncommon subs that you usually don't think of as Americanas(American lock). Best of all he shows great ways to isolate arms from side control that can be used for many other submissions was well.
Lots of cool details!
I really love this new series that focuses on one specific concept. The flow chart in the beginning is helpful and I’ve already had lots of success using this knowledge to submit with the American lock as well as transitioning to Kimuras and back takes. Less is more sometimes in a sport that has such a vast amount of information available. I plan to start the Anaconda series next but I’m enjoying this step in my evolution thanks to Mr Danaher.
As always Professor Danaher teach the Americana like you have never seen. So many concepts and details that will revolutionize your americana.

John shows how to set up and land the American lock on opponents past their first week of BJJ. So if it used to be a great submission for and then everyone started to escape it give this a try.
Americana
keeping americanas effective
I can´t say it enough. John Danaher is a genius, even if it comes to perfect such simple submissions!
A lot of repetition in the beginning but good concepts and ideas how to use americana and find opportunities to other arm locks.
Danaher is always great. This has changed my perception of the Americana.

Very good! Precise instructions. Very effective. So much knowledge The goat as usual.
Awesome instructional making the american lock an effective submission for your tool kit.
As you'd expect from JD this is a really thorough deep dive into the americana... I mean american lock. I've been training for a while now and picked up some nice details and am looking forward to entering my american lock era :)
mechanic of lock
I thought I knew the Americana. Danaher takes the movement apart and shows aspects that you’ve never even heard about or thought possible.
