I will use this as a guide for teaching inverted guide to kids class. First step is grilled chicken.

If you want a guard structure that doesn't fixate on offense and instead prioritizes invincibility and safety, then this is the course for you!
really helps me to conceptualize and implement my guard retention game!
Priit goes over all the details of how to retain your guard!
I watched this 2 nights ago and put a few concepts to work this evening with some decent success. I see the value.
good instructional video interesting postures seems to be working well and frustrating some coloured belts
Concepts that are a challenge to apply but helpful.
Technique light, but concept heavy material that I find useful in every roll and when learning new techniques.
I wish I could meet Priit Mihkelson in person to shake his hand for producing such a simple yet easy to understand video on guard retention - a system he calls "grilled chicken." Why TF did he name it that, you ask? Because whether sitting or on your back, the structure is similar to one of those grilled rotisserie chickens you get at the store - the headless grilled bird with its wings pulled up and tucked in close to its sides and its thighs flexed and externally rotated. The whole idea is to keep this structure when someone is trying to pass you. I was able to immediately implement this system with good results against same level people - higher belts can still pass me, but I am making progress. I love Lachlan Giles' ideas on guard retention, but at age 52, I found myself too inflexible to do a lot of that Gumby-like inversion stuff that Lachlan endorses (Priit also teaches inversion but his tips are more suited to a less flexible guy like me) - plus, I have started doing Yoga for BJJ app 10 minutes a day which has definitely helped. Anyway, I can't recommend this video highly enough. Well done, Priit! If I see you in the airport, I will buy you a beer!
Professor P. M. created an outstanding instructional on keeping or regaining yout guard based on seated, supine or hip heisting moves and strategies. All movements and moves are fundamental and general so that they are applicable and adaptable for different body types and strategies. This should be everyones guard retention foundation!
Preitts instructions are great for helping my guard retention. He is streight on point
My guard retention is weak and a work in progress. I saw this instructional and took a chance based off the stellar reviews. The reviews are correct, this instructional helped out almost immediately. Teaches you retention postures that make it harder to pass your guard based off of distance. Principles to understand and movements based off what the opponent does as well as drills. Solid instructional that I took notes on and have rewatched several times.
Great instructional
For me, this was a new approach to BJJ, and one that made me much more difficult to submit. Highly recommended.
Priit is an awesome instructor. I was first introduced to his concepts on Youtube. This instructional goes into great detail and is definitely worth the money!
Excellent instructional, simple minimal movements and works well on all training partners
This video was a game changer for me as a purple belt. This simple rule-based retention system gave me the comfort and confidence to try new things without fear of giving up a positional advantage. The real benefit was developing an open guard game off of it. Grilled Chicken has become a staple of the class I teach.
Priit's material is just fantastic, particularly if you are past the age where you can coast on athleticism. The grilled chicken is easy to incorporate in your game because Priit presents it as a series of concepts and principles rather than techniques.
Priit explains some simple concepts that provided me with big improvements in guard retention. Requires some practice to get it right, but it can fit into almost anyone’s open guard game I think.
Straight forward and easy to understand. A lot of small details gone over why it works, well worth watching.
Simple to use ideas. Can incorporate by your next sparring session. Great for the 40+ crowd.
This is a simplyfication off open guard. with these concepts you have a rock solid foundation for your open guard game. it might not work for u in the beginning but keep working at it, as all of priits stuff, when u get it right it is magic. #thatpriitshit
These techniques are easy to implement quickly into your drilling / sparring. Ive found them to be tremendously versatile and useful against a variety of guard passes and body types.
I loved this instruction. Priit's stuff is the best.
