very informative
I'm not a guard puller but I do like to play closed guard and this instructional has given me some great new tools to make the sweeps and subs I've been trying actually work!
Everything Roger teaches is clear, clean, and easy to understand.
Roger Gracie's micro details are exceptional. He describes the principles and dilemmas one needs to master in each stage of the closed guard positional battle.
invisible jiu-jitsu
Roger Gracie’s Closed Guard System showcases the fundamentals of one of jiu-jitsu’s most classic positions. With world-class timing, posture breaking, and high-percentage submissions, this instructional is a masterclass in control and precision. A must-watch for guard players of all levels.
I never really enjoyed playing Closed guard but I learned a lot of eye opening details with this instructional and plan to implement closed guard more in my game. Thank you!
Roger is a man who knows what he’s talking about. Studying this (actually making an effort 🤨) could, with the right defense. Turn your white belt into a closet blue belt 🤫😉👌
Great breakdown of techniques. I loved the mechanical function of the submission. it helpled me get more submissions when i understood the reasoning. recommend
I found this instructional very helpful. As and older person who’s not extremely flexible I like the fact that this system uses a lot of basic and easy techniques so that anyone can improve their closed guard.
Great
this is amazing for anyone who loves closed guard
he does a great job of breaking down the techniques into easy to understand and follow steps makes sure to identify the key steps that will make each move more successful easy to understand discriptions of technique so it is easy to bring back to the mat. very happy with this content and would highly recommend
Do as he knows 🙏
Taught very well by the greatest
So many great tips
fundamental techniques from the master. you need to know this!
To reference another sport, this is like getting a lesson from Michael Jordan on shooting a basketball, or Pete Rose on hitting a baseball. Roger's game is so simple, yet so completely devastating, and this video series really highlights that. He walks through a variety of moves and concepts on his closed guard game - everything from basic guard retention, to sweeps, to submissions. His attention to detail is impeccable. Nothing he presents is some fancy "Instagram" move. It's all basic, fundamental BJJ... and that's a GOOD thing. I can't recommend this video series strongly enough.
All meat and potatoes with no fluff. Roger's systemization of the closed guard is is concise and efficient.
