Kimura: Enter The System by John Danaher
The Kimura system was the first video series I purchased that John taught. I have become addicted to how he teaches, first, to the general principles of a system. Then he moves into the fine details of each technique that makes up the system. His content has x5 my progression.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Simplifies the Half-Guard!
Half Domination by Tom DeBlass
Tom does a great job of explaining a basic set of moves to have an effective half-guard. He keeps it clear and concise; you don't get overwhelmed with too many moves/steps or moves/positions that are overly complex. I highly recommend this video to anyone looking to establish a good half-guard game!
The GOAT Delivers, Again
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: A New Philosophy Of Submissions Escapes by John Danaher
Danaher conveys concepts to support his systems based approach to submission escapes so you are learning much more than just isolated "moves." He explains what the opponent is after with each submission, which is critical in understanding the escapes he details. His escape system is easy to follow and I can't wait to get into more precarious situations in the gym to practice these escapes :)
Great fundamentals instructional, get it if it goes on sale.
No Gi Takedown Fundamentals by Andre Galvao
No Gi grappling is is quite a bit different to judo/wrestling/sambo etc. Andre does well by covering self-defense aspect first before moving into techniques that are specific to no gi grappling. Great one to pick up, especially when its on a daily deal etc.

Original De La Riva Guard Sweeps by Ricardo De La Riva
Classic DLR guard
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A must have for the newbie
White Belt Defense by Joel Bouhey
This was the first BJJF video I ever purchased. I was only 1 month into class and needed some extra insights on dealing with being mounted. Joel teaches in such a straightforward and easy to follow manner that you CAN put these things into practice. I have been able to apply this to our rolling sessions and escaped mount a few more times than I would have. Confidence builder.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Excellent for knee cut details alone -- other stuff is really helpful, too!
The Science of Guard Passing by Lucas Lepri
Excellent instructional — one of my favorites for knee cut details.
Shorter but not to be overlooked
The Triangle Machine by Craig Jones
A shorter instructional, but Craig Jones has had a huge influence on BJJ, so an important contribution.
Instructional title says it all
High Percentage Submissions by Bernardo Faria
One of my favorite videos because it’s just high percentage submissions for 5x World Champion — a variety of submissions are introduced from mount, side control, back, etc.
Great Insight into Gordon's Passing Game!
Systematically Attacking The Guard by Gordon Ryan
A very detailed approach to Gordon's passing game! He shows how to address each of the various modern guards so you have an answer to any possible guard. My only criticism of this instructional is that he goes through move, after move, after move and it's a lot of information to remember and to apply in the gym. It would be helpful if he incorporated more concepts and basic rules, similar to what Danaher does, to support the system. This way you can understand the premise behind the moves, which makes it easier to remember and apply in training.
Response from BJJ FanaticsThanks for the review! Just study and practice every bit of it, so you won’t miss any detail. Take as long as needed.Greatly helped my closed guard game!
The Closed Guard by Bernardo Faria
Closed guard instructional from Bernardo that clearly lays out submissions and sweeps — a definite requirement for fans of closed guard.
Essential to Guard Play
Guard Master: How To guard Them All by Geo Martinez
I'm still very early in my training but this training has already but me ahead of my peers at my gym. Since I'm also 10p, it's made my half guard play much better as well. Can't wait to drill the **** out of these sequences!

Ripped In 12 Weeks Intermittent Fasting & Easy Bodyweight Fitness by Tom Deblass
Tom explains how to rethink the usual way of training that never work long-term, how to fit training in our busy schedules and give great insights on how to work out while not damaging our joints (since he got many injuries from his world class carreer, he found how to adapt training while maintaining a superb physique). The intermittent fasting part is way less difficult than I was expecting, so I am also already giving it a try ! Thanks a lot Sir for this training.

An anthology in every sense of the word — incredible value at this price for the breadth and depth he provides.
Deep half made simple
The No Gi Deep Half Guard 2.0 by Jeff Glover
A very good starting review of deep half guard. Jeff Glover is the master of deep half, and he cuts out a lot of the complexity with this instructional to just focus on a basic system that most any belt can learn.

Excellent library additional for arm bars!
Fundamental Armbar Mechanics by Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec
A good focused instructional for me on arm bars. I’m curious how this would compare against Danaher’s Enter the System.

Great resource with lots of amazing content. Positions are broken down into simple to follow pieces, and can be unified into some amazing systems. I refer to this resource a lot!
A deep dive into Defensive Guard!
The Modern Defensive Guard by Ryan Hall
Brilliant and balanced masterpiece by Ryan Hall, providing not only key movement patterns but also a thorough conceptual framework focused on connection to the floor with an aligned structure. He provides numerous examples and shares some different thinking around how the guard should be actually be used (regardless of your preferred competition ruleset). I hope there's more Ryan Hall / BJJ Fanatics collaborations planned!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Short but powerful
Flower Power by Malachy Friedman
Very useful concepts on display here. Regardless of whether you think you know the flower sweep, Malachy Friedman has new details that make this an incredibly effective entry into an array of top positions and submissions. Rather short but otherwise to be highly recommended.
