Octopus 2.0
Octopus Guard 2.0 by Craig Jones
A bit different from than your typical octopus as this instructional is based primarily from side control. There is most definitely a learning curve . It’s a very reactive position with no time to think . The positive is the technique is very simple. It will take some reps to hit the sweeps with a decent percentage just be prepared for the back takes and darces. I would have like to have seen a section of just sparring/roll analysis. I would buy it again and do recommend it for anybody that’s a fan of octopus.

Strangles & Turtle Breakdowns: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster
Strangles & Turtle Breakdowns: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
John Danaher’s Strangles & Turtle Breakdowns is a profound reminder that mastery lies in the details we often overlook. While many practitioners assume they have mastered these fundamentals at white or blue belt, Danaher exposes how superficial our understanding truly is. He takes techniques we thought were "muscle memory" and deconstructs them with clinical precision, revealing the underlying mechanics that make them effective at the highest levels. This instructional isn't just a refresher; it is a paradigm shift that forces you to unlearn lazy habits and rebuild your foundation with a deeper, more conceptual clarity.

Outside Ashi Reloaded
Outside Ashi Reloaded by Jason Rau
Jason Rau’s Outside Ashi Reloaded stands out because it is forged in the heat of high-level competition. Rather than teaching static patterns, Rau shares a battle-tested methodology that reflects his deep, personal evolution in the leg lock game. His approach is uniquely analytical, treating lower-body submissions as a fluid strategic exchange rather than a forced sequence. By blending his intuitive mat sense with clinical precision, Rau provides practitioners with a sophisticated blueprint that works against elite resistance. It is a rare glimpse into the mind of a specialist who truly owns his craft.
