This video is full of efficient and effective passes. it’s presented in a entertaining way and I think that helped remember the moves. I usually have a hard time retaining Techniques from videos cause they can be a little boring. Not this one! Glover and Pete are a great combination. But it! Be entertained! Pass guards!

So first stage is learn from others, and here is a great source to have our hands (and mind) on it. Then the rest is up to us, meaning - if we wish to be excellent we should follow and practice.

The fact that you're a world champion doesn't always mean that your instructional is good or helpful. This instructional is great even though, to my knowledge, this guy is not a world champion. Every detail that make a difference is well explained. Great structure to the instruction AND TONS of positions and explanations. This instructional is going to keep me busy for a VERY long time. Sorry Mikey and the rest. Well Done.

Tactical Turtle by Neil Melanson
Finally, I now have an understanding of how to play the turtle position. The hybrid jiu-jitsu/wrestling game that Neil teaches is awesome, it gives you a whole other dimension of grappling skills and techniques that "pure" jiu-jitsu guys seem to not have. The individual moves are great but for my money the gold is in all the explanations of the transitions between static positions. The teaching style is awesome. Neil is the first instructor I've seen that properly explains how to execute head and arm chokes, and yes there's a couple of those in here too. I'd like to say this is his best DVD yet but the truth is all his stuff is top level. You won't be disappointed. Coach Neil - yes we want a part 2 to this, but we also want a part 2 on everything you put out!

I thoroughly enjoyed this instructional. I am constantly on youtube and instagram where I follow some of the most creative and successful competitors and instructors. Even still I learned a lot. The instructional not only covers techniques but their context based on your opponent's defensive reactions or offensive mistakes. Instructor Satava explains essential details thoroughly in a clear and concise way. I have every intention of purchasing his butterfly guard instructional.

Getting Swole As A Grappler by Gordon Ryan
It was very interesting to see Gordon's strength and stretching routines. I took notes and am trying to follow this routine. BUT, from an elite athlete with grappling abilities second to none, I expected the video to be more professional, starting with matching the right subtitle to the exercise demonstrated by Gordon (I think I counted more than 5 wrong subtitles like that). In addition, showing me how to put some canned tuna between 2 rice cakes can hardly be considered a "recipe" that I should pay for watching how it's made. Having said all that, Gordon is a super star, and very rightfully so, and I enjoyed learning from him in this video.

This is easily my favourite dvd I bought on here and was one of the cheapest cos it was on sale. Easy to understand and apply even for solo drills with a grappling dummyand very effective. Gives you lots of good ideas to base your game around

The concepts that are shown here have improved my jiu jitsu so much. I can’t believe the progress I have made by applying his techniques. If you haven’t heard of this guy you are snoozing. I once heard of Comprido as The Larry Bird of jiu jitsu. Ever since then I have followed his work!

I was blown away by all the detail and thought put into this instructional video on the no gi deep half guard 2.0 by Jeff Glover. With the coupon it was practically free and I should have purchased this sooner. Not only does this video include all three sweeps from deep half guard and all the ways Jeff gets into deep half guard, but how to eliminate vulnerabilities and counters as well as drills to improve your ability to execute the moves. Not to mention Jeff's funny AF and entertaining. I used this immediately in rolling and was able to get into deep half guard twice, although I did get chin strapped which Jeff warned of, that was my bad. Stoked to have this at my disposal to watch as many times as I choose. Osss!

Back in the early days of competition he popularized this game for the masses. Worlds fastest submission.
