The Sport of Kings: High Performance Mindset For Grappling by Gordon Ryan
I feel like this is Gordon’s most useful instructional. I feel like the mental aspect of training is never talked about and seeing what the best in the sport does both mentally and physically in training, I feel, has more impact than his physical techniques. Plus this dvd is half the cost of all his others so it’s a steal.

Diamond Concept: The Diamond Guard Frame, Shield, Elegant, Pedal by Xande Ribeiro
This is an awesome instructional. The Diamond Concept is something that I use everyday in practice. I like the Diamond Concept because it is something that I will be able to use in my game for the rest of my life. The concepts are simple; however, the execution takes a lot of practice to master.

Much of my game is top game based, relative to fighting and wrestling. So this idea of creating pressure from the bottom brought me here. The Sitting Turtle by Priit Mihkelson
In my academy I am know as the turtle guy I learn this style from telles and for two years I have been doing good. As time goes on there were alot of holes in my turtle game an alot of guys saw it an was able to catch me now that I for priit dvds alot of those holes are filled up. Everything you talked about in the sitting panda, hawking, and running man scenario would happen did happen to me I was lil doubtful at first not addressing the choke but grabbing the leg an hawking with my head down an my boxer shoulder it worked like a charm.lol The purple i was rolling with nearly lost his mind he couldn't rnc me or collar choke me trust me he tried like 10 times an nothing I was smiling in my head because of the share defeated look an frustration came over him. No Gi BJJ Kimura System by Troy Manning
Mostly I prefer to use closed guard or side control. To my mind Kimura is the best and the easiest way to win from one of these positions. I'm fully satisfied with the way Troy explains the technics. Easy and clear! Greetings from Russia. P.S.: Hope they got *** after the training.

I've been waiting for this DVD to come out for a while now and it doesn't disappoint. Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec gives so many great details on the guillotine that there is no way you won't be able to successfully add it to your game immediately. Highly recommend buying this video.

The Turtle Guard Revisited by Eduardo Telles
When I first started bjj for some reason my academy was full of back takers i would not even get a chance to break the closed guard I would just get a quick arm drag from closed guard in to back position then rnc an that was it every time for two months when i just joined. There had to be a way to stop and or get out of back position then my prayers where answered an I found your dvd prof. telles and now my favorite go to dvd an my new fav position the turtle, i can't remember the last time someone tap me with a rnc. I am now the turtle guy at my gym an the only turtle guy.lol people wont follow my lead it's to risky so risk no reward. my best turtle achievements catching the steam roller on three purple belts an four brown belts, turtle plata a 4 stripe blue belt an escaping a rnc from a black belt. My coach use to go crazy an yell when I use to give my back now he can't wait for me to give my back to see what crazy tricks i have up my sleeve. Lol thank you so much for making this dvd an giving me a defending chance.oss.:call_me_hand::martial_arts_uniform:

Like all of Danaher's videos, this is a must have. The information in this DVD could revolutionize modern jiu-jitsu, and I'm not exaggerating in the least.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great for effective self defense against untrained opponents with minimal legal repercussions
Police Self Defense Tactics For The Street by Jay Wadsworth
I really liked this one. I would like to talk first about effectiveness and potential lethality. A lot of martial arts techniques are effective but possibly lethal. I've seen a lot of streetfight videos where somebody was slammed into the ground, cement or cobblestone, with very bad consequences. How would you fare in the eye of the law then? Hence it's very fortunate that Jay here shows moves that would have none or minimal harmful legal consequences. You can learn these moves and have them in mind in self defense against an untrained opponent. Jay also talks with precision and detail, his smooth, quick and efficient movements when not tied also show that he has martial arts knowledge beyond grappling as well. The moves are clearly meant for self defense, in one part he discussed standing up when forced to ground, and he showed a move (one from a few) that had its focus on getting up. It's a different mindset to bjj where the battle is on the ground and meant to stay on the ground. MMA does give the two options of either groundfighting or getting up, but Jay talks about the safety pov of fight or flight. The second part also had a part where he showed us how to free one's self when held against a wall of some sort, how often do you see that? You'd have to look up a dedicated MMA DVD. I find that he included it really awesome. P.S I'm not a bjj guy, I'm here for the grappling aspect of self defense. Self-defense in the ground and clinch ranges includes a trio of striking, grappling and weapons, and it's a treat when a DVD discusses all three. P.S.S bjj fanatics, can you make more mma dedicated grappling dvds? I'd appreciate more you guys.

The Kimura Machine by Fabio Holanda
I’ve seen Danaher and Sakuraba as well. Love all three but this one is a must have. You can watch Fabio 20 or 30 times and he teaches you how to hit Kimura from all key positions. He also shows you how to overcome all the counters. He’s fun to watch!

The footwork Blueprint by Trevor Wittman and Justin Gaethje
It's my best purchase so far and by far. The techniques taught definitely suit my personal abilities, style and body type. I've been able to implement things into my game straight away. Good also to have the techniques demonstrated at full pace by Justin. I recommend to anyone looking for implementing angles in his boxing with simple and aggressive techniques.

Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
The information in this instructional is so dense that I will have to rewatch multiple times to extract all the value from it. Danaher does a phenomenal job explaining what makes the back position work and how to make attacks from there successful. I could not be more pleased with it. I am a fairly experienced grappler, but I think that those at a lower level in the sport should be able to get a lot out of this as well. If anything, it would prevent them from learning bad habits and misinformation that later need to be unlearned. Video quality was professional.

I am really digging this new set so far. I'm primarily a striker who is learning BJJ and to have this information to address the transition is fantastic for me. My primary BJJ school doesn't really address the stand up game very often.
