Marcelo is an all time great in No Gi (as well as Gi)- and much of his success can be attributed to his relentless passing style. Like the rest of his game, Marcelo has an amazing system of passing- which combines multiple moves and techniques depending on the opponent's reactions and movements. Not only is this series, and all of his instructions, a must have for no gi practitioners, one of the beauties of Marcelo's game is that is it easily applicable to the Gi game...so yes, all you gi players should get this video as well!

They showed their berimbolo from de la riva since then it was the only berimbolo I knew until I got my hands on this instructional. Mikey is an incredible instructor and is so technical, there is not a single detail he leaves out. I am only half way through the series but I am loving every minute of exploring this position. Well, this is gold. I usually don't get darced as I thought my defense principals were really good. Got tapped by a very good guy off a failed mechanics sweep the other day and decided to look into deeper defenses. I'd recommend this for any level from white belt to black. Wish I had had this 5 years back in fact.

The No Gi Deep Half Guard 2.0 by Jeff Glover
Jeff is my favorite Bjj fighter. So creative and relaxed. I got this instructional after I saw him post this is the base of his entire system. I watched it once and immediately have been able to put it to use. He hs a great mix of concept and technique, of volume of techniques so you can use it in enough situations without being overwhelmed. Of repetition so you memorize without getting boring. Probably the most practical instructional I have ever downloaded here. Definitely one of my favorites.

I've had the fortune of taking a seminar with Paul Sharp in person - his teaching style comes across as well in this instructional as in person. There is a lot out there with regard to self defense strategies but Paul Sharp cuts through a lot of nonsense and gives you basic simple techniques that allow you to apply your bjj. Anyone interested in self defense or who is part of the Shivworks family would learn from this instructional.
